Alumni Notes: John Felten

We enjoy sharing student successes. We just received this note from John Felten. The Billings Gazette published an article about his work. Follow the link-  it's a great article:

"Good afternoon Tim....I thought you might approve of the G&G details I brought from two classes at the PT School....Maybe you can work with Darrell and the staff and add to the G&G details classes you offer....I just bought G&G Furniture: Poems of Wood and Light and there are many I would enjoy learning....John

Jim Tolpin's New Book Due in April

Jim Tolpin's new book "The New Traditional Woodworker" will be available in late April. You can read more at the Popular Woodworking Editor's Blog.

We'll be holding an Open House and Booksigning at the Port Townsend School of Woodworking to celebrate. Pencil in May 7th as the date - we'll confirm the date when we're sure we can have copies of the books. We'll add in a series of Hand Tool demos and presentations to fill out the day.

If you're in Port Townsend before the end of March please stop in and check the progress of our 12-week Woodworking Foundation class. We have six students in the class and they're busy making straight edges with Jim as a I type this.
