Images from the Greene & Green Class

You can find full size versions of these images in my Picasa gallery here. I'll leave the gallery up there for about a month.

The magic router bit for rounding over the ebony spline inlay is: Amana #51572 bullnose.

If you have any comments about the course please feel free to post them as a response to this entry.

A genuinely insightful and educational weekend with a true master craftsman who defies the old saw of "those who can't, teach." Darrell offered insight not only into what it takes to get the incredibly sophisticated details of G&G just right, but how they were originally done as well as more efficient ways with today's equipment. With guest instructors like Darrell and the facility and faculty at Fort Worden, PTWW has raised the bar in education in woodworking. Keep it quiet about how good this class was or we won't be able to get into Details 2!
